Voice-over Training
Daniel runs workshops for a number of organisations and companies to help potential voices become voice-over artists.
The workshops take place a few times a year in small groups limited to seven participants.
Level one concentrates on using the voice.
This is a practical workshop where participants will sit behind a microphone and test their voice.
Their performance will be assessed and their strengths and weaknesses analysed.
Directions will be given on how to improve and become a professional voice.
Level two will deal with the additional problem of following a guide track while reading the script.
This is especially useful when voicing a script into another language.
One to One workshops can be tailored to accommodate the specific needs of the student.
We can also make demo tapes also known as show reels as these are necessary to enter the market.
Daniel Pageon wrote The World of the Voice-over in 2007 which goes into detail about the work a voice is expected to do.
