John started his career with many parts in TV dramas and comedies but soon became in demand for his vocal talents.
He has presented radio programmes for GLR, Radio 2, World Service, Trent FM & Magic.
From friendly and informative to menacing movie trailer reads his voice can be heard worldwide extolling the virtues of products from Andrex to Yakult plus Documentary & Corporate presentations, both in & out of vision.
He comes from an Irish & Scottish family which accounts for the rich tones and, at times, somewhat eccentric behavior!
Versatile, directable and easy to work with, he is the storyteller in the cartoon series 'The Jubbers' and recently played Jim Kirby in the film 'Dead Simple' and Carrie's Dad in 'Just Passing Through'.
Recently he produced and part voiced an innovative new audio guide to Europe for a major travel company.
When he's not on his boat or dodging the speed cameras on his motorcycle he can equally well turn his hand to dubbing.
